EDIT: after holding onto these tires for nearly two years I finally found someone to take them. It smelled like he was enjoying our recent legalization (ironically in an illegal manner since they drove to and from my place) but he’s got his tires, I’ve got my cash, we’re all happy.
I was messaging about four different buyers on kijiji and a buyer was saying it might take a while to get to my place since he’s still on summer tires. I was wondering why he bothered to mention that and then I finally looked outside to see that it’s snowing, even if it is only a little bit.
I’m glad these Blizzaks are going to get some use since I only used them for one season and I don’t drive very much at all. I loved them since they made me feel very confident while I was driving my tincan 2009 Accent.

I sold my used winter tires in less than a week. I had three viable buyers lined up.

It’s strange since I had posted the exact same ad with the same pictures last year but only got a couple of stupid lowball offers.
This year, I had one guy put in a reasonable offer but everyone else was ready to pay my asking price. Everyone who messaged me today was ready to pickup today as well.

I got full asking price, $160 for 4 205/55-16 WS70 Blizzaks at about 50-
60
% tread from new. They just were not cutting it anymore
on my mazda so I bought the newer WS80's.

Can’t seem to sell my wheels and tires and it doesn't make sense unless it's just because they have 1 season left tread. But they're priced to basically just be the wheels. I really thought they'd go quickly given they're a common size, common lug pattern, and I'm just trying to get rid of them.

That’s the feeling I had last year - mind you, the tire size is much less common on newer cars but there are plenty of older econo cars that can use the 185/65R14 spec of my old winter tires.
Last year, almost no interest. This year, many potential buyers all in the same morning.
Then again, mine were only used for one season and can last quite a while since I didn’t even put a lot of miles on them during that one season.
